Andrea Mauro has worked in IT since 1996 and holds many technical certifications (VCP-*, VCAP-*, VCIX-NV, VCDX-DCV, MCITP, MCSA, MCSE, NPP, CCA). He's also a VMware vExpert (2010-20), Nutanix NTC (2014-20), Veeam Vanguard (2014-20) and was Microsoft MVP (2014-16). He works for the Italian IT company Assyrus Srl as a virtualization and storage architect specializing in VMware (but also Microsoft, Citrix and Linux) solutions. He is the VMware Italian User Group founder and board member, VMTN Community Moderator, #vBrownbag and Backup Academy contributor, passionate blogger, runs his personal blog on vinfrastructure.it (both in Italian and English).
